The terms & conditions below applies to card processing & shopping on this website.

1. Detailed description of goods and/or services

Cadac (Pty) Ltd is a business in the wholesale and retail industry that develop, sell & distribute gas, camping & braai related products.

2. Delivery policy

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 3 days and delivery confirmed by way of email from both Cadac and the courier company. Cadac makes use of an external reputable courier company. The name of the courier company and your order/package number will be communicated to you in the email you will receive. If you do not receive such confirmation within a time period of 24 hours you are requested to log a query on the website. Where an item is available, your product(s) will be delivered within 5-7 working days from date of making the payment.

3. Export restriction

The offering on this website is available to South African clients with South African delivery addresses only.

4. Warranty, Return, Cancellation And Refunds Policy

The provision of goods and services by CADAC is subject to availability. We will do our best to keep you informed of any unexpected delays, stock shortages or discontinued items.

If we are not able to dispatch or deliver an item to you within the schedule provided, you may refuse a delivery, cancel your order or return the parcel to us, and we shall refund you in full.

All Refunds will be credited to your card used to make the payment or your bank account if paid by EFT, within 30 days.

Should you wish to cancel all or part of an order, please send your cancellation request to info@cadac.co.za. Please note, however, that we may not be able to cancel items from an order if they have already been dispatched.

4.1 Warranty claim procedure

  1. The consumer must produce proof of purchase for the item.
  2. The warranty will only apply if the unit is/was assembled and operated in accordance with the printed instructions/user manual.
  3. Products that are claimed to be leaking gas must be inspected by a CADAC employee. If no CADAC employee is on hand for inspection, the product should be kept aside and will be inspected within 3 working days for warranty defects. Credit will not be passed on overfilling of gas cylinders or where misuse has resulted in gas leaking.
    1. The same procedure will follow as in point 3 for products that are claimed to be faulty when in use with gas e.g. gas not coming through hose or stem. The product needs to be returned to Cadac or an appointed Cadac agent.
  4. The consumer may also complete a CADAC WARRANTY FORM to submit a warranty claim to CADAC. Click here to download.
    1. Cadac will acknowledge receipt of a warranty claim within 2 working days and allocate a warranty number for traceability.
    2. Cadac will endeavour to send out all warranty replacement parts within 5 working days. If we cannot meet this you will be advised.
  5. Cadac will, at their discretion, replace any or all damaged and faulty parts covered under warranty. Cadac never replace the whole item when part replacement is appropriate.
  6. The above applies for missing parts or wrong parts in enclosed packaging.
  7. Faults and/or damages caused by abuse, incorrect assembly, incorrect use or mishandling by the customer are not covered by the warranty.
  8. CADAC will not pass credit on incomplete items – the complete product must be returned.

5. Customer Privacy policy

Cadac shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from:

6. Payment options accepted

Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, or by bank transfer into the Cadac’s bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.
Cadac (Pty) Ltd, at no stage has access to or stores customer’s financial information. The payment process is handled by and performed on by a secure online 3rd party portal.

7. Card acquiring and security

Card transactions will be acquired for Cadac via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

8. Customer details separate from card details

Customer details will be stored by Cadac separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO PayGate’s secure site.

9. Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

10. Responsibility

Cadac takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

11. Country of domicile

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Cadac chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, its physical address as listed below.

12. Variation

Cadac may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time. Notice will be given of any change to out terms and conditions to the uer’s registered email account.
